Imagine a gun debate compromise that’d shut Democrats up but also provide us with an incredible advantage going into every future election.
I believe I’ve stumbled on such a compromise thanks to RINO hack Adam Kinzinger and the smartest man on the radio, Ben Shapiro.
Today on his weekday radio program, Shapiro noted that Kinzinger has come out in support of raising the minimum age for buying a gun to 21.
Shapiro responded to the idea by saying that he’d support it, but only in exchange for also raising the voting age to 21.
“My view on this is that I am perfectly fine with raising the age of purchase of a weapon to 21 years old, so long as we are also going to raise the age of the draft and raise the age of voting to 21,” he said.
“You can't have people be half adults. If you're old enough to vote and you're old enough to be drafted and fight for your country and carry a gun in combat, you're old enough to make a decision about whether or not you should own a gun. If we're going to treat 18 as adulthood, then 18 is adulthood. If we're going to treat 21 as adulthood, then 21 is adulthood.”
Bingo!
By raising the age of adulthood across the board to 21, we’d satisfy Democrats by preventing future “angry young males” like Salvador Ramos, 18, from legally purchasing weapons.
But we’d also gain the advantage of knocking millions of young, know-nothing, predictably liberal knuckleheads off the voter rolls. Yes, they’d eventually turn 21 and gain the right to vote, but God willing, they’ll have matured enough by then to know better than to vote for Democrats. Or, at the very least, matured enough to know better than to vote for the dumbest Democrats, i.e., the squad.
So what do you think? Yay or nay?
